I believe the Truman show was controled,Christof was controling what everyones said,acts and respond, from his wife to the neighbors dog. In the show while christof watched truman sailing away to his freedom ,in the atempt to stop truman, christof controled the weather and almost caused truman his life.For example of how much the truman show was controled,  weaver says that "Trumans life was controlled because everything was set as a rountine for him" aswhile as "Each day Truman followed the same rountine such as waking up, dressing, being greeting by the same people, taking same route to work."
